Grasperly was founded by entrepreneurs who've built and scaled technology companies across Europe, and who sit in the same classrooms they're trying to improve.
Why we started
I teach MBA students at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Every semester, I watch the same thing happen: brilliant students get stuck on a concept, send me an email, and wait three days for a response that takes me ninety seconds to write.
Multiply that by two hundred students across two sections, and you start to see the problem. Not because I don't care, but because there's only one of me.
So I started asking a different question: what if every student could get that answer immediately, not from a generic chatbot, but from something that genuinely understood my course material, my perspective, the way I teach?
I called Lars-Erik. We'd worked together before, and he'd built the entire TaxAct Sweden platform solo, handling 20 million euros in GMV. If anyone could turn this idea into an actual product, it was him.
Within weeks, we had a working prototype. When Oscar joined to lead growth, we had a team that could not only build the product but also get it into the hands of the people who need it most.
Today, we're running our first pilot at Kozminski University. This is just the beginning.

Lars-Erik Wessmann
CTO & Co-Founder
Engineer and entrepreneur who solo-built the entire TaxAct Sweden platform at €20M GMV. Deep expertise in scalable architectures, AI integration, and LMS interoperability. Previously led engineering teams in Stockholm and Berlin across fintech and edtech verticals.
Built from inside the academic world
Grasperly isn't built by outsiders guessing what academia needs. Lech has spent years teaching entrepreneurship at one of Poland's top business schools, working alongside faculty, deans, and program directors who face the same scaling challenges every semester.
